Shangri-la Villingilli is a proven veritable cornucopia of unbelievable sights and luxuries. Being the sole resort in Addu Atoll currently, the diving spots are astonishingly empty and the resort helps you take advantage of the exclusive access to learn, or enjoy diving in the lush Maldives underwater gardens.
With its own hyperbaric chamber and trained attendants and a hyperbaric Doctor, the resort offers registered PADI courses from open water to more advanced scuba diving courses as well as exciting excursions for experienced divers.
Addu Atoll is roughly 21kms long, fringed with barrier reeds and patches of colorful coral and only 6 inhabited islands. The southernmost atoll in the country, Addu is speculated to home roughly 25 diverse and exotic dive sites, including Kuda Hohola, and Demon Point, where mantas can be seen lazing around throughout the year.
